Excellent photo. Great composition, and I like the mixture of silouetted elements placed well, without overlapping. I like that the foreground boat is moving towards the sun.

Like everyone else has pointed out, this is a textbook example sunset picture. The boat in the foreground leads the eye nicely to the horizon. (which BTW is not 100% level). Great shot!

I try to avoid sunsets for sunsets because they are so common. But when you combine a sunset with a phenomenal composition like this they can be magic.

I made a similar shot, sunset and boat, but yours has :
- nice black wrinkles on the sea
- nice clouds to avoid boring sky
- hill in the background
- the sun is lower, limiting the light
A really nice shot !
(I just regret the 2 boats on the horizon, which block me from going away...)... I'm dreaming already :-)
