Photographer's Note
Now the workers are picking the tea leaves, after a short night in the compound you saw previously.
The tea is picked by hand with modified garden clippers. They looked like ordinary gardener scissors with plastic containers attached to it, that were probably cut from a plastic jug.
This device was to allow them to cut and collect the leaves in a quick motion over their head and fall inside the basket they wear on the back.
A pains taking work that few of us would be willing to do.
The tea bushes we see are many years old, and can produce for almost one hundred years.

Hi Michel,
I was hoping you'd give us a close-up of the plantation, and I wasn't let down.
I love the frame filled with the tea plants only broken by the workers going about their job of picking the leaves.
Very good daily life capture, tfs.

Hi Michel,
such a beauty you captured here. I went there too. It such an exciting view to note the tea picking session and also the vast huge tea plantation.
Nice graphical composition of lines in the tea bushes.
Nice composition in good contour and rich green leaves.
Beautiful scenery.

Salut Michel
très belle photo de ces cueilleurs de tea. De belles couleurs et un très bon cadrage. Une image que j'ai vu il y a un mois tout juste et qui me rappelle mon magnifique voyage. Bravo.
