Photographer's Note

Here, I will begin a small tribute to Malaysia, probably the friendliest country for the sailing community.

One of our favourite places in Malaysia is certainly the Island of Penang.

This picture shows the small fishing village of Batu Maung, at the far south end of the island. Very few tourists come here, contrary to the main city of Georgetown.
There is a good storage and boat yard facility nearby, where we had our sailboat.

I wanted to use the fishing net as a foreground and set aperture to f:25

In the coming days, I will show other places of Malaysia that we enjoyed, as well.

This is also my way to thank our Malaysian TE member, Foozi, who I will dedicate this coming tribute.

I hope you will like it.
