Photographer's Note

Tasik Bera is the largest freshwater lake in Malaysia and located looking like the sprouting roots of a shriveling ginseng on the southwestern corner of Pahang, near the Negeri Sembilan border.

It is one of the wetlands protected and conserved under RAMSAR, much like the convention of World Heritage but for bodies of water.

It is about 3 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur and about an hour from Temerloh. You could get there too either from Segamat, Johor or from Bahau, Negeri Sembilan if you are coming from the south.

An atmospheric work of the northwestern shore of Lake Bera in the early morning hour from the main jetty.
