I was helping out Sharina (my wife) shooting wedding pictures for her friend and here is one of the result. Thanks for viewing.

I recognise your style in the compo - a great sense of space, well rendered colours, great light with a touch of ethereal. You used the road and the sky very nicely to compose the image. The wedding couple would always draw the attention because of the pink colour, but the rest of the image gives a hand on that too. They are lucky for having such a talented photographer in their wedding.

Your trademark of Kedah rice field is making its way not only to your landscape shots, but coming to the wedding photography too.

I would of course crop out the poles and wires, and focus a little sharper on the couple.

But how nice it is, to be outdoor shooting in full wedding dress. A fine TE post.

You have all the colors and setting of making this into an unusual and very interesting wedding photography. The wedding costumes or the color theme really and the yellowish green young padi field.

great capture! Fascinating image... beautiful colours and very good composition. I like he colours of the sky very much. The sunlit clouds look arrange sort of a line which goes to the horizon, just like the road does.

Hello Jusni:

Superb shot, no doubt. The couple walk by this place so beautiful, adds warmth to the scene.

I like the format used vertically, which allows us to appreciate the cloudy sky, which contrasts well against the greenery of the countryside. Although it seems to me that there is much saturation in the green, it seems to me an excellent job.

Jusni, are you cynical??? This pictures really shows all the upcoming ups and downs of marriage. There is a storm, some bright light on the paddy, and not to forget the newly wed couple in traditional Malay dresses. Excellent composition, execution and vibrant colors.

Hello Jusni, I just read your intro & agreed with all you said, this is the reason I looked back at your photos until I arrived at this one, stopped at this because not only is it a very beautiful shot but in my opinion it captures & represents the main things you wrote about, namely landscapes with people, roots & maybe small wings, I suspect if this couple have not done so already at some stage of their life it is possible for some travel. Lovely natural looking scene enhanced by this special occasion with the couple in their traditional wedding dress. Well done

It's a long time since I spotted this photo and added it to my group theme "Brides, grooms, mariés". But I never took the time to comment on it although I find it quite stunning!
I love the way these bride and groom have chosen the same colour, pink for their wedding costumes; the way they seem to be walking a lot from their home to the wedding place! In fact, I would like some explanation there! Is that how it's done in Malaysia?
I also like the POV with the long road, the bright fields and the infinite sky!

PPS. I have still got a question: You talk about all the weddings taking place during the school holidays. Is that because more guests are more likely to be free for the festivities, or is it because they are students getting married?

questa è una bella foto per la perfetta composizione creata dalla diagonale della strada nella quale le due figure che passeggiano sono state inserite al posto giusto per la regola dei terzi, per i colori ben definiti e saturati perfettamente, oltre che per la nitidezza che permette di ammirare bene i dettagli.
Ottima anche la luminosità e indovinato anche il taglio verticale che dà grande riliev alla bellezza del cielo e delle nuvole.

Molto buone le note tecniche che permettono di capiure tutto il processo che ha portato a questa bella foto.
