Hello Elaine,

This is such a calm photograph.
It is pacifying to look at it.
The stillness of the water creates this effect and its stillness is revealed by the quality of the reflections.
The crossing figure, looking down at the water, adds to the gentle calm.
A beautiful composition and exposition.
