Photographer's Note

6am Mrauk U. The stars shine in the dark night when we start the 10 minutes hike towards the top of the hill right behind the Wesali Guest House. It is still dark when we reach the Shwetaung pagoda at the top. What followed then will remain in our minds during a long time. One of these very special moments in our life where we the original beauty of our planet unfolds silently all around us.

I am amazed with the color tone of this morning view. Normally we have foggy morning but seldom with red color tone in Malaysia. I have seen similar views of Mynmar and you are very lucky to see this in person. Very well captured mood.

j'adore cettephoto où le paysage apparaît en couches successives estompées par la brume!L'ambiance est merveilleuse et irréelle,et comme tu dis si bien dans ta note ,la beauté du paysage se dévoile lentement,comme si le monde se créait là,devant tes yeux!Les couleurs rosées accentue la magie de l'image!

Those must have been some very special moments. Watching as our planet slowly turned and allowed the light from the Sun to illuminate this Earth. It is quite a magical scene, made even more so by imaging how it gently unfolded in front of your night-accustomed eyes.

Hello Vincent,
A famous view, endlessly fascinating. The fine nuances of dawn and the mist are very well captured. The light is very weak but still enough to show us the trees in good details in spite of them being almost obscured by the haze.

This is an extraordinarily beautiful shot, a real art work specially if you crop the mountain off and make a panorama proportion picture. The lower part without the sky and top of the mountain is the best part.

Yes, one of those rare moments when one perceive the miracle of creation and its splendor. This image depicts that moment so well.
