It would probably be possible to take a photo in a place like this the ordinary, open way, but chances are that one or two of the roughly six persons seen here would notice the photographer and look, maybe angrily, into the camera, thus spoiling the genuine atmosphere. Here nobody pays any attention to you, for everyone it's just an ordinary day in the street or performing their religious rituals. We can't get much closer to their daily life than through your "shoot-from-the-hip" photos.

you must have had great fun preparing this capture and later checking out the result you got! It's a great picture, an original point of view that presents the setting and the scene in a very intriguing and creative way. I like very much the intensity of the perspective, the concentration of the walking pilgrims, the special atmosphere created by the colours and the shadows. Beautiful and inspiring work. I like the effect of the low view point and the wide angle lens. The lovely light has picked out the colours very well and the sky has an interesting cloud formation. A very enjoyable image.

Excellent low POV that give this image a very strong perspective and very typical scene around many temple where the pilgrimage circling around the temple and spinning the prayer wheels. It is a great place to just sit down and watch the same people coming around and around. That is such an experience to see these people so dedicated to their faith. The one time I truly understand what it meant to be dedicated.

Excellent perspective Indeed! I liked the wide angle framing with the structures on both sides and the walking monks and of course the lovely sky all blending into a harmonious composition. The colours are vibrant and very pleasing. I liked a lot the W'S picture, the chosen pov shows the giant stupa in all its grandeur.

Being a fan of wide angle lenses, I have to love this photo that makes so clever use of the unusual perspective. It's amazing how the graphical arrangement made by the horizon (the temple on the left and the houses on the right) and the alignment of people works so well. The light and colours are also great. I like also the WS, a classical, but very accomplished view of that Kathmandu landmark.

The combination of the wide lens with the hip level creates an unusual but a mightily pleasant picture. The walls with the prayer wheels create a fine perspective. The clouds are also interesting in shape. A typical 'abmdsudi' shot in its uniqueness and beauty!

thats quite a tech detail in the note, all i am interested is in the final appeal and value of the photo and there is a lot of it, there is more happening to the left of the frame than the right, but again you cannot intrude their private space as they spin the wheels of prayer..yet a good photo my friend..
