Bhaktapur is a living medieval city in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. The winter cool meant no rain, plenty of dust and smoke, and great light. Nepal feels like another time.

Hello Justin

Very atmospheric photograph: mainly due to the smoke you mention. The backlighting has rendered the figures as silhouettes, which is fine be me! Good Gert Holmertz-style "nothing special" shot: you've discovered the ordinary within the extraordinary, which is an odd way round for a street photographer. But it works!

C'est la première fois je crois que je visite ta galerie. J'aime beaucoup cette photo et je ne pouvais pas passer tout droit. Cette lumière et la fumée font bien le travail.
