Photographer's Note
In time for the Season of Lent, I am posting a shot taken during a short, return trip to my province. Parish of St. James or popularly known as Betis Church, is a must see during the Bisita Iglesia or church visitation this Holy Week. Me and my town mate were actually surprised that such a beautiful church existed in Guagua. If I am not mistaken, the church flooring is made from a hardwood called Narra. Nice, I like how you went with it :) . The Spanish era' church's in the Philippines are always fun to look around, I remember the one in Boac, Marinduque, Very beautiful hand carved doors, marble floors, carved walls, more like artwork! its all a fair few hundred years old! the first priest is buried under the main alter too! thanks for sharing your photo
