supposed sunset, a photo from Cebu, Central Visayas

Photographer's Note

Massive cloud formation enveloping the whole area of Bantayan Island. This was supposedly a sunset shot but due to the huge block, only a slit of the sun can be seen.
Just trying to make the most out of the gloomy weather =)

The blue tint reflects the gloomy gloomy weather. That is one thing with nature ... unpredictable! Good work on making the best of what nature has offered you ... that is the challenge of photography :) Well captured and composed. Well done! tfs

hello Andrew,
I actually quite like this shot, beautiful soothing colours. that tiny golden patch adds a nice accent to the scene, looks almost like an eye peeking under a thick blanket :) and is that rain on the horizon? another fascinating detail. very well seen and presented.

Vow, vow... What a huge sky there is! I like your way reserving great part for sky and the blues of your frame. Red sunlight stains are great at horizon band.

tell me about the gloomy weather in october and november, andrew, i had my share! but this blue is interesting, for me it doesn't (literally) mean lonely or depressed, it meant beauty of nature captured by one who tried to make most of what the situation has got to offer! the segment of sunlight peeping thru it shys away the redundancy! magaling!

Belle photo de ces nuages qui sont si près de l' océan et qui laissent la haut bout tomber toute leurs pluie. Bel effet et très jolies couleurs. Bien vu, bien pris.
