Photographer's Note
This was an early morning shot that I took in Malapascua.
I forced myself to wake up early and anticipate the sunrise but unfortunately the weather was not that cooperative so I just made do on what was available.
From a far you can view a couple of "bankas" gearing up for fishing.

Quite a nice alternative to the typical sunrise/sunset type images.
I don't get why the previous critiquer doesn't attribute the 2 points if he likes it so much. If he doesn't believe in giving points, then maybe he should give up his own.

Those clouds! that Atmosphere! amazing, Very blue and very strong tones of colour. I really like it, Great to see some different Morning shots. Great combination of Land/Trees, Water and sky, The Framing is great. Strange, but i think the "Bad weather" helped out a bit, I like the heavy dark clouds and the atmosphere they create. Those Good old Bancas are a great addition as well, they fit the scene perfectly.
Great Work Andrew,

Hallo Andrew!
A great photo! The atmosphere here is truly a bit threatening and I think it's much more impressive than a "normal" sunrise. This picture was worth getting up early! ;-)
Greetings from Germany!

Terrific blues Andrew. Looks like it was shot near the Exotica Resort. Romantic and idyllic, this image makes me want to visit again. Perhaps next year, when I completely recover from a dreadful illness. Hope all is well. Danilo

Bona nit Andrew,
fantastic practically monochrome image where the blue one is the king. Great dynamism in the image thanks to the movement of the palms and clouds. Excellent composition.

hi andrew,
this blue isn't a fit of depression, it is figuratively a blue ribbon work!

Hello Andrew,
I like the wonderful feeling of depth and the great cloud formations!
And don't worry... Millions of sunrise images but only a few like this!
Attractive shades of blue and the palm trees make fine silhouettes...

Hello Andrew,
The sun did not come but it allow a very original photo with this blue atmosphere.
The light which passes allows to enlighten clouds in the spectacular forms which contrast with the smooth sea.
Great shot
Diane
