Photographer's Note
After the harvest and putting the rice grains into the sacks, some people collect the cuttings for their own use. I would have wanted the person wearing a straw hat to give it a stronger rustic touch but we can't have everything :)
This photo taken during the drive to Mt Balungao around 10 am, 80 kms north of Manila.
