Photographer's Note
High in the mountains of north Luzon lives the Ifugau people.
For thousands of years they carved with their hands and sculpted the mountains to what it is today – a complete system of Terraces, canals, dams and irrigation systems to enable them to cultivate the hostile mountain area and to make them fertile rice fields.

Nice perspective and color! Sharpness appears good too. Too bad the sky is blank. I have some good photos with the same problem though.

The rice terraces are splendid, I like the way you present it from a different angle that the standard photo does.

Spectacular landscape! Composition is excellent Yuval. Unfortunately the light was very harsh but I understand that sometimes it's : take the shot now, or not at all. I'm glad you took it.

Spectacular landscape indeed! Sagada does have extensive terraced mountains, but this one is its neighbor, Banaue. That hamlet at the foot of the terraces is Banga-ag.

What an amazing landscape. All the lines lead out so nicely from your point of view, too, and are obscured nicely by the haze. The greens are beautiful. This carved look is beautiful, though. And so natural too with the green and the soft cuts. It looks like it would be so steep in areas. Simply amazing what has been done here. Excellent job.

Amazing scenery. The houses give an idea of the proportions and add nice touches of colour.
