Photographer's Note

On the foreground is the monument to all victims of soviet-finnish war 1939-40. During this war Karelian Neck was attached to Russia and finnish town Terijoki, where I'm living, became russian too. It was renamed later to Zelenogorsk (something like Greenhill). The monument is impressive, the trees grow from two rifles, small bird is sitting on the branch. If you loot from the front, the silhouette of the cross could be guessed.
On the background is local lutheran church, which was restored recently.
The shot was made by TSLR Yashica Mat 124G with 6x6cm film, Velvia100 in this case. The film was scanned, there is almost no photoshop here, just small contrast correction.
