Photographer's Note
The Esplanade is affectionately known locally as "the durian", because of its design that cause it to look somewhat like a durian, which is also a local favourite fruit. Completed at huge costs, it is Singapore's attempt to promote the local art scene as well as to establish itself as the premier art destination in SE Asia. Within the Esplanade, you will find multi performance venues, such as the Concert Hall, the Theatre, the Recital Studio, Theatre Studio, Outdoor Studio and so on ... At the Concert Hall, which is designed for music performance, you will find state of the art mechanism to highlight music. It sits on a cushion of space to keep it sound proofed, and is so well padded that it is deafeningly quiet. Its also got a pipe organ with 4,740 pipes.
Despite its high tech bits, to the locals, it remains a durian.

Another nice Singpore night time shot. Very clear sharp shot, showing a lot of familiar landmarks. Funny how we like to make-up nicknames for these adventurous examples of madern architecture.

What a sharp night shot photo. I like the calmness of the water and colorful reflection brought by the shutter delay. Good Catch!

A beautiful night shot, John. Spot-on exposure to render the illuminations and the crisp details of the modern architecture. The reflections on the water are a fine add, and I like a lot the deep blue hues of color that are retained in the sky. Great one.

Very nice night shot, well exposed. Very sharp and clear, nice colours and reflections and I like the fact that sky is still blue and not totally dark. Well captured!

John, very pleasent night shot, well composed and exposed, like the shadows and the overall look of it, nice frame.
What is that reflection/shadow on the left in the water? Looks like a reflection of a large human sculpture?
