Photographer's Note
A well used Hindu temple is in the background, located at Singapore's Little India district. In Singapore, most pedestrian crossings are well respected. But at Little India, I noticed that not much attention is paid to the flashing little red man. Perhaps its because of the many Indian workers (from India) that is present here and the culture is reminisent more of Indian towns, where there are less traffic, than of Singapore.
Little India (in Singapore) is a great place for street photography and for tourists alike. There are also many small and reasonable backpackers hotels located here.

This is a good bit of visual humor. Only red men can cross! Or, if you cross against the light, you turn red like the little man? That's funny, I never would have thought of that. Quite an elaborate street corner!
Great one, thanks John.

Hi John,
I think that your treatment really enhances the photo. I also like the matching frame and thsirt. The black and whit looks great with the architectural details of the temple.

A well-seen potential for this post-processing, John. The photo would already be an interesting daily life view as such, but your presentation adds a humorous element while still retaining the scenic value of the surroundings. Nice.

This a marvelous picture. Everything is already said on it. So the only I can say is 'Give us more of this pictural humor' with such a great background.

The red theme conrasting with the raw black and white of the background is great. B&W works superbly in the temple where the shadows and lines are enhanced and we arent distracted by color. The crossing man is also a great element here.
