Photographer's Note

This is the 2nd of my Hands of Faith series, and this one is from a Hindu temple in Singppore's Little India district. Whilst in the temple, I was lucky to spot a Hindu priest behind a half closed curtain dressing up one of the Indian gods. I wanted to capture the very intricate details of the gods and the hands may provide a human element as well as a sence of scale.

I am not sure of the significance of this god. Perhaps someone who has knowledge could share their view?
