Photographer's Note
Going through some more shots of Singapore, and I come across another shot of Singapore's Clarke Quay. I know some of you may recognise this photo as I have a similar one posted here in TrekEarth.
I wanted to draw a little more attention to the lines and details of the photo, vs the colors. But at the same time, I found B&W to be a bit.... boring in this circumstance. I decided to desaturate the whole photo except for the color red.
So here I am, Painting The Town Red...
I hope you like the final result.

I like the shot. Very sharp and clear. The long shutter speedf gives a nice touch with the headlights. May I suggest a slightly horizon rotation of (less then) 0,5 degrees counter clockwise. Anyway, great shot.

This is a brilliant image Dan, and a creative idea in PP. You have many good night shots on here; it's not something I have really tried. Round here it's not such a good idea a female out alone with an expensive camera; a friend was mugged for hers recently so I'll have to wait for my husband to come with me.
Anyway I love this shot; you seem to have the exposure spot on; do you know the shutter speed?

but I wish that this photo was a bit more sharp

Hi Dan,
What a night shot, very successful and certainly colourful, I agree with Yamada, for the small rotation, but without this rotation remain your picture superb!
Best regards,
John.

Great night time shot Dan,
Excellent sharp detail and the 10 second exposure really brings out the light. The idea of desaturating apart from red is an interesting one, I'll have to give it a go.

Hey Dan,
This is just a great shot. You seem to have a knack of portraying cityscapes in such a way that the scene all comes together in a pleasant blend of colour, lines and light. I love thered and brown hues here, the water, and the sizzling lines of light. Amazing clarity and an amazing shot. All the best.
