More shots of Pelicans from the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore on a trip with fellow TE member Dan Walsh
Still struggling to find subjects and taking pictures like this that previously held little interest to me or fellow photographers I know. I find myself looking a little more at the look of the final product now instead of just the subject.
This shot was actually taken about midday and with some gentle PP including noise removal (due to accidentally leaving my camera set up at 800ISO), a little vignetting and some levels adjustment, I came up with this slightly moonlit look.

Nice shot Mark, I like the long beaks pointing every which way, although i feel bad for the one on the top right as you clipped off part of his head. Some things just can't be helped.

Overall a nice shot. Well done,

This is a nice display of peilcans showing a lot of character. Reminds me of a bunch of old men sitting on park benches commenting on the horse racing! I'm thinking that maybe a square format would have been better here, i.e filling the square with pelican!

Hi Mark, good shot. I like the way they're sort of bunched together facing the same direction, it gives a good balance to your photo. Also interesting detail in their appearances - must be different kinds. I have to agree with Dan about the cropping of the one's head - it's a bit noticeable, but it's still a good photo.
