A shot from the Jurong Bird Park that Mark (ROAMERMARK) suggested we visit as the Singapore Wetlands were kind of baron.

I'm not much of a bird person, but I do like the pelicans exhibits. It's the bird's overall size that impresses me the most. Watching a pelican come in for landing is like watching a 747- although the pelicans are not quite as gracefull landing.

I looked up B&W Pelicans on Wikipedia and discovered that this is an Australian Pelican- which is medium sized compared to other sub-species. 5.3- 6 ft in length and have a wingspan between 7.6- 8.3 ft.

And they hold th record for having the largest bill in the bird world.
