Photographer's Note

Along Jongro, near the main tourist central area's of Seoul, is a world apart, a slice of old Seoul, perhaps a generation ago.
The streets are filled with street food, and these tents, which we see here. These tents set up at night and serve a purpose for drinking Soju, Korean Rice Liquor, and to eat accompanying food.
Walking around Jongro even by day, you'll see old men drinking Soju, and the streets have a slightly chaotic, grimy feel in the alleys and roads.
What you find is excellent cheap restaurants, and street food, people selling vegetables on street side mats and a bustling lifestyle, especially very late at night.
