Photographer's Note
Well...these are some of the peaks of Taroko Gorge. The photo was taken from the elevation of about 1000 m, so these peaks must be at least 1500, while some in the area go up to 2000 m. Quite much for a little island in the east Asia. But, did you know that Taiwan has the highest mountains of the south east Asia - getting close to 4000 m.
Technical note:
This is a panorama of two vertical shots stitched using PTGui. I added some small ilumination and then also enhanced the colors to compensate for the reduced exposure used because of the strong daylight.
Enjoy, Alan.

hi alan, great stitching job and a beautiful landscape-shot! :-)
excellent vertical pov and composition showing how deep the
gorge goes down - i would not want to drive my car off the road there.
good dof and sharpness, nice colors, the sky is just still a little burnt though.
well done & take care, thorsten.

aklanac,
I like the composition. The color is accurate too. But the stuff at the right-bottom is strange. ND Grad is also suggested to use to show more detail at the sky.
