Photographer's Note

Having lived in Thailand three years I always found the Monks life most interesting. In this photo, of the hundreds of eyes looking only the Monk sees me. Partly because I am within his path, but there is much he can look at. He fills the space, for perhaps his purpose is more focused than others. Perhaps if I do not move he will walk right through me.

What a snapshot of daily life!
There are so many people, so much movement, almost like a bee hive! Yet you have kept the shot really sharp!
You are right, the monk is queen bee, commanding attention at the centre, from both his expression and clothing.

Of course the monk is the subject, his orange cloth among the usual dress of the people in the street, the fact he is looking at you (and so us) while the pother persons don't, and he is at the center of the large landscape size picture.

It seems very busy in the strret through much people.
Colours and sharpness are superb.

Yes, I also had such experiences like you. If the both compromise each other, two person will crash---. By the way you nicely focus on this monk, who only looks at you and horizontal cropping is the best match with this situation.

Intersting note, isn't it? I can understand that this tasty building has such history. Very nice stoned architecture, and I remind that Europe is in the stone culture trhough your nice posting.
