Floating lotus fields, a photo from Phattalung, Sud

The western end of the Thala Noi lake is covered by floating water crest and scrubs but also countless lotus and water lily fields. To let the speed boats of the fisherman and tourists pass, waterways were literally cut trough the rather dense freshwater marshes.

You have very well used the diagonal of the canal and the presence of the motor boat , providing a contrast of movement , to present us this lotus field .

Hello Urs,
Very good point of view with the obliquely placed waterway and the wake trailing behind the boat creating a fine sense of movement. Nicely lit and with good clarity.

Hello Urs,

I saw forty year ago a movie with the name lotus, also almost the same scene with the boat on the river.
Sharpness and clarity be superb.
Lovely composition, excellent captured, together the wonderful panorama view of the area.
