Sightseeing with speed boats, a photo from Phattalung, Sud

At the entrance of the village there also is the government's wetland reception and research centre, where visitors can walk on walkways on stilts a few 100 meters above the lake to observe the life of the water birds as near as possible. The centre offers speed boat rides around the lake. Navigating between the floating water Lilys and Lotus is not easy as the photograph above shows. Certainly you can see the vegetation, but the water birds still are not used to the high pitched sound of the speed boats, what makes it difficult to observe them

We see that in all countries the times change, modern boats very quick about the river.
Sharpness and clarity be superb.
Also the nice lotus flower makes these picture very attractive.

Hello Urs,
An attractive composition featuring this boy and his motorboat. The yellow hull makes a fine contrast with predominantly green surroundings. The water lilies add some nice splashes of colour as well. A pleasantly lit image with very good colours and sharpness.

This is a lovely shot Urs. Good light and lovely reflections it is a shot packed with interest and detail. You did very well with the composition managing to get the full reflection of the boat and the boatman. It makes me want to go back to rural Thailand! Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Urs,
Speedboats are a real nuisance most of the time, but especially in areas with a fragile nature and birds that are easily disturbed. In some places at least they should be banned. Who needs a speedboat to enjoy the scenery anyway?
That doesn't make your photo less attractive. The boat, as an element of the composition, looks nice with its red engine and the young man standing up, the water lilies provide colours and beauty, and the reflections are very nice. The stilts provide an interesting background.

This photo reminds me a lot about Thailand. I took boat trips on ones like this several times. Nice view as the young man treks past the water growth, which is everywhere. The boats seem very over powered. Nice view of typical Thailand.

I have been to Malaysia a few times ... before digital. Just as the towers were being built - did work with the national education ministry. Great people.
