Photographer's Note

I found Vietnam to be a remarkable place. Da Nang, a central coastal city, is filed with a vast variety of places and people to explore. About 40 minutes from Da Nang is Hoi An or "Old Town" a UNESCO World Heritage site and was once a key port to Japan. No cars allowed, so it is a vast walking (walkabout) storefront like market center with rows of old, ancient, original buildings redesigned to be tourist accessible for local items and restaurants. Very crowded. But people are busy looking, shopping, and enjoying street vendor foods - happy. The emphasis on commerce takes away some of the enchantment the original town must of had. Still great for people and structure photos.
