Waiting for better times...

I’m back from Cuba and to be honest im dying to share the photos with all of you.
It will take me a while to post process all of them but I have the time.

Cuba is a great place to relax and sun bath,
But it has much more then that...
It has a lot of history, style and a lot of culture
You have the felling like you went 50 years back in time.
And the contrast is so strong that it’s sometime really painful .

I hope you like the pictures I made ,like I liked Cuba.

Ishai, this is already a better time. sitting on the beach and relaxing. i can't wait to see more of Cuba....rgds

Ishai, I think this image is quite special and I am looking at it in a couple of different ways. Firstly I see two ladies relaxing at the beach, colourfull see and an umbrella, but the chairs, they just don't fit in that setting, and I think it makes the image very interesting. Because of the chairs I see a story of life in a place where they still live in a past.

On the other hand this would make a great beer commercial, I think it's Corona or some other beer that they advertise on TV in a similar manner, this image fits their motto.

I like the atmosphere of this photograph. it is almost sad. the noise given reinforces this impression.
the chairs seem very worn and must be at least 50 years old!

Interesting shot and title. Without the context, you might think 'what better times could you wait for, than sitting in the sun, relaxing on the beach?', the plywood chairs give a hint to the answer.

Hi dear Ishai,it's a intellectual shot,with a a great meanning,very well captured and really nicely composed,myebe a bit difficult for me to write about this all things that I feel here,but let me just say,I like it a lot,altough it seems simple but I don't think so,it's an impressive work,you did great,Ishai.

Very simple compostion with impact. Old wooden chairs rather than beach chairs give this photo a different view on sitting on the beach.

Very good composition, The contrast of colors with the umbrella is excellent.
