Photographer's Note
Not that he seems to mind though :)
This picture was taken in front of a cigar factory in Pinar Del Rio. He was quite happy to be photographed.

another good shot from you Mauricio, this time a portrait! its a good picture and good clarity and focus, i think i would crop slightly on either side to move the person to one side of the frame, out of workshops for today though!

Really nice, I like the disproportionality between the cigar and his head... full of humour!!! Nothing bad to say really...

Quase se pode dizer que o charuto é maior que ele! :)
Um retrato muito bom! A pala do boné poderia ter deixado a cara um pouco na sombra, mas tal não aconteceu, a luz está bastante boa.

excllent portrait. the situation is so funny, the proportions are not well respected, this man with a little face, big hat and big cigar, but he is so serious.
very good dof and sharpness.

Excellent portrait. The cap and the cigar make him look smaller than he is! A funny photo, in a way. Regards, Huub

Bom Dia, Mauricio. I'm a bit late coming to this excellent portrait of yours but...better late than never! I love Havana cigars myself and this is just a wonderful capture. The wizened face of the old guy and the cigar are almost one, grown from the same organic base... Bravo! Francis

It may not kill him at all! After all, he is not too young a man, is he? :-) Though I am not a smoker, I would prefer to drop dead at age 90 because of smoking-related heart attack...:-) The picture, however, is amazing, Mauricio! Well, very well done! Superb! One of my favourites no doubt... Thanks,
Sarolta

Le portrait est bien composé, j'aime bien la disproportion entre le cigar et la casquette, le visage semble tout petit, sans doute as-tu utilisé un grand angulaire ?? Amicalement/jr

What a great portrait, Mauricio. You've got a great angle, emphasizing the size of the cigar. Between the cigar and his hat, his head looks so tiny. Very clean and very clear. Nice shot.

Grande retrato temos aqui.
Excelente mesmo, adorei a expressão, a pose, tudo, e nota-se realmente que ele ficou bem contente por ser fotografado.
Muito boa mesmo, Mauricio.

Great expression in his eyes. He seems to be posing (probably he is) but doesn't loose spontaneity. And the contrast between this too little man and that too big cigar is very funny.

WARNING : SMOKING MAKES YOUR HEAD SHRINK
don't believe me?... 25 years ago, this man's head used to fit exactly inside that cap.

this is extreme!!! excellent shot, but the model is 5 STARS!!! I wander how does he manage to finish this one, I bet he eventually gets so much nikotine that he is barely able to stand, or he probably learned how to cope with it. Anyways, I would like to go there some day and get one cigar for my self. Thanks for sharing, Alan
