One of the more famous ruins in Antigua Guatemala, la Recolecion offers ample proof why the Spanish moved the regional capital to Guatemala City because of so many devastating earthquakes. As forlorn as the place looks, just off to the left is a large area that has been converted to an amphitheater for classical music performances as well as other events.

Hi Lowell,
A nice compo with good POV and framing with this arch and the ruins inside, even the darkness of it is ok coz it gives a dramatic feel to the photo!
