you are right, there is a big difference between this two modes of transportation. Its really a very funny picture. I am always very interested in this big cruising ships ... TFS.

Bonjour Jean,

Le kayak a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. La distance entre le kayak et l'horizon donne de la profondeur à la scène. Tu a bien capturé l'action du kayakiste. La bonne luminosité valorise les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Jean,

You timed this nicely so that the two prows are in line, a very decisive moment! Mmm, I wouldn't bet on the kayak in a race, though, unless it was just for a few metres!!!!
The blues of the water are gorgeous, crystal clear, allowing the kayak to stand out strongly with its red colouration.

very well spotted contrast of the big and small boat. It does look sort of funny when aligned next to each other. The geometry is also pleasant for the eye.

Excellent moment to capture, this reminds me a giant shark sneaking up on its prey in the sea, the cruise liner looks so huge! Really nicely done to capture this perfect moment of contrast of size. I know which I would rather sail on :)

Indeed a very big different but the man in foreground shall are a lot healthier than the festivity table on the boat, with the people with fat bellies.

The bow of the giant vessel is most aerodynamic in shape, and fabulousely show from its profile, Jean.
Of course, contrast with the kayak is notable, yet I fine the blue water scenery also impressive.
