Das Schloß Schönbühel wurde Anfang des 12. Jahr-hunderts von Marchwardus de Schoenbuchele an jener Stelle erbaut, an der höchstwahrscheinlich einst eine römische Festung stand.

Das Schloß blieb fast zweihundert Jahrelang im Besitz seiner Familie, welche aber mit dem Tod von Ulrich von Schonpihel Anfang des 14. Jarhunderts ausstarb. Der Besitz des Schlosses ging nun an Conrad von Eisenbeutel über und kurz darauf an das Stift Melk.

I like the way the road draws the eye into the scene towards the star of the show, this magnificent castle. A good light with pleasing colour contrasts. Excellent clarity.

this is such an incredibly bright, sunny, picturesque view with the castle being the majestic eye-catcher :)
It's a good idea to include the curvy road in the composition: the road logically takes the look directly to the castle. Very well balanced composition, very good photo which conveys a very good, positive mood :)

Ostatnio polubilem temat "drogi". Nawet umiescilem dwa zdjecia w swojej galerce. Podoba mi sie, w jaki sposob prowadzisz wzrok. Oczy same biegna do zamku, zachowujac przy tym wszystkie zasady ruchu drogowego;) Magiczne miejsce podobnie jak zdjecie.
