Photographer's Note

Europabrücke (Europa Bridge) is a 777-metre-long bridge carrying the A13 Brenner Autobahn over Wipp valley just south of Innsbruck. The bridge is part of the main route across the Alps from western Austria to South Tyrol in Italy. I took this picture through a tram window on a route from Innsbruck to Fulpmes.

Hi Kari,perfect quality despite the pic comes from a tram,an excellent capture of this long bridge, not good for the natural view but surely useful and comfortable for cars and trucks. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Kari,
The bridge is long and high, but although it is the immediate eye-catcher it is not the finest element of this photo. The green and hilly scenery with a mixture of forests and fields is much more beautiful, and it's enhanced by the fine light. It is surprising to learn that you took this from a tram. I usually think of big cities in connection with trams.

Hello Kari,
This panoramic tram runs through a wonderful piece of Tyrol's nature.
Forests alternate with alpine meadows.
Very nice with the chalet in the foreground.
Excellent clear and sharp picture.

This is a great Alpine scene. I like the how the bridge divides the mountains and greenery in the background, from the house in the foreground. I've always liked the colorful flower boxes found in windows in this part of Europe, too. Take care!

This is an excellent photograph, especially considering it was taken through a window, whilst moving!
I like how you have included the pretty chalet in the f/g, making it challenge for importance with those majestic, conifer covered, mountain slopes!
