Another bike ride today with a beautiful autumn day, without wind and lots of sun.
A total of 35 km, but take it easy and take a photo regularly.

This mansion or perhaps a small castle, where I have not found an immediate description, but of the town of the past.

Under the old regime, Zomergem was the seat of a craft that comprised the most important parts of Zomergem, Waarschoot and Ronsele. Located between major centers - 15.5 km from Ghent and 25 km from Bruges - the people of Zomergem always lived in close contact with these cities, all the more so because the municipality is located on several old, medieval trade routes. The most important of these are the Oude Heirweg or the Bruges-Cologne trade road (which ran over the Brugstraat in Ursel and the Rijvers district in Zomergem), in the north of the municipality, and the Gentweg which passed through the village centers of Knesselare, Ursel and Zomergem. runs. lepo mesto sa drvecem i kucama na obali, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i dobrim tekstom.
Lepa refleks na vodi i uhacen trenutak.

Hello John,
The attractive building – mansion or castle – is discreetly placed in the background, almost hidden behind the screen of branches of the trees on both sides of the water. But it is perfectly reflected in the calm water, and this image is almost clearer than the "real" view. You managed a fascinating composition with a beautiful warm light in the right half and colder tones on the left side. You really have an impressive number of good photo opportunities within easy reach with your bicycle. Taking photos keeps you fit and healthy!

Wat een prachtig zicht doorheen de vele takken!
Sublieme compositie.
Hetgeen de foto ook heel aangenaam maakt, is de combinatie van de vele warme tinten uiterst rechts met het blauw van het water en de lucht in het middenste gedeelte.
Prachtige heldere weerspiegelingen.

beautiful composition here. The naked vegetation allowed you to peek through between them and enjoy the lovely reflection as well. The light and ambiance is very much autumnal already with limited direct sunshine but the effect is very eye pleasing.

You found a beautiful aspect, during your bike ride, to capture the colourful details of the autumn colours and a very pleasing view of the building. You don't exactly tell us what it is but it resembles an important mansion and looks romantic, from this aspect through the trees.

Hallo John,
Dat statige landhuis is heel mooi te zien door de opening in de bomen die hier een mooie omlijsting vormen. Ook de spiegeling is heel mooi en helder in het rimpelloze water. Het warme licht op de bomen zorgt voor een mooi kleurcontrast met het blauw in het midden.

Hello John, there is a lovely warm glow of sunshine upon the foreground with the trees in their autumn colours. This contrasts strongly with the cool colour of the blue lake.
You had the bonus of a still day so the reflections are perfect.

Another amazing shot of reflection. Fantastic used of sunlight and the trees with the composition.
The mansion is slightly hidden from view. On the other hand, the reflection revealing the mansion even more beautiful with the blue sky and the silhouette of the trees branches around it.
Very well judged and composed photo to perfection.
