Tourists back a Bruges (photograph Saturn afternoon)

BRUGES NEW.

Few cafes in Bruges were as famous as De Vuurmolen on the Kraanplein at the time. Today, beer is finally flowing from the taps in the café again, but under the name Flandrine and in a completely renovated building. Catering entrepreneur Liesbeth De Reyghere, known for café and restaurant Cambrinus in the Philipstockstraat, was determined to breathe new life into the business when she took over the property in 2018. A new name, a new concept, but with the same goal as before: to offer a cozy meeting place where everyone feels at home.
Liesbeth De Reyghere: “De Vuurmolen was a café where young and old, Bruges residents or people from far beyond all came together. We want to do the same with Flandrine. We got inspiration for this from the Dutch tearjerker pubs. Nothing connects and transcends generations like the Dutch-language song of life. This is something we think was really missing in Bruges, we think the concept will catch on.

This is a nice view of a lady in red walking towards a café in a red building next to an orange building. It's a colourful photo with a nice atmosphere and fine details, such as the tree and the elegant lamppost.

Hallo John,
Van 'De Vuurmolen' of 'Flandrine' heb ik nog niet eerder gehoord. Het Kraanplein is nochtans heel centraal gelegen en de knalrode gevel is toch ook wel opvallend voor Brugge.
Je nam deze foto toen het nog mooi weer was en de boom nog zijn vol gebladerte had.
Het ziet er gezellig uit op het terrasje.
Mooie presentatie, helder en scherp.

Hallo John,
Het rode huis is heel aantrekkelijk en komt mooi tevoorschijn van achter de boom en de lantaarnpaal. De tweetal in de voorgrond is een mooie bonus, zeker vanwege het rode tenue van de vrouw.

Colorful display of this Cafe' corner, John.
The lady in red matches the red bricks facade. We also see an elegant lamps-post alltogether the whole sight in beautifully rendered.
