Photographer's Note

Kamenitsa peak (in right) is a part of the side-situated Kamenishko ridge in the Northern Pirin Mountain.
The high part of the ridge has an alpine character. It is competed with many other mountains – sharp peaks, some of which with sheer cliffs, narrow passages, deep abysses, circuses, lakes and snow-drifts, which do not melt till the summer.
The first peak of the ridge is the Malka Kamenitsa peak (2697 m above sea level). After that peak the difficult to pass ridge continues to the south-southwestern direction to the stone beauty – the Kamenitsa peak, whose altitude is 2822 m above sea level.
