One of the innumerable mine-is-bigger-than-yours chimneys in the town of Lastovo on the island of... Lastovo. A no-nonsense but architecturally-rich town that, in a curious turn for a Dalmatian island capital, has its back turned to the sea.

très bien photographié sous cet angle avec un bon équilibre dans la vue entre cette tour et ces murs, très bel effet de couleurs et de teintes avec cette parfaite luminosité, c'est bien géré.

Hello James,

This immediately attracted my attention because of the tall, unusual chimney. My husband and I once decided to photograph chimneys, just to ascertain the size and variety of shapes, and though we began ... we never seriously recorded them! Dam!

This is a very well exposed photograph, rich in colours and with the chimney (the focal point) strongly placed against the sky.
Did you use a polarising filter?
