Photographer's Note

There is very little information you will find about this beautiful town you can find on the internet, so I will give you few guidelines I found here as a first time visitor.

The old town

It is full of narrow streets with 2-3 story buildings dating from 14th century on. Streets are only 1-2 meters wide, so you could even get lost in them as they are many there. This narrow streets are paved with cobblestone century old so they are very smooth.

The town squares

Cres has about 3500 residents and at least 3 main squares, one of which you can see in the photo. This squares consist of caffees, small grocery shops and souveniers, and you can get all for very cheap prices.

The Harbour

Cres Harbour is situaded on the top of the bay in the form of a long letter U, along which you find a path by the see which is very long, in order to walk by the see covering all bay, you need 20km, so it is great for people who love hiking. The water there is very clean and nice for swimming.
Some info about the photo: Taken in the late afternoon on a very clean and sunny day. I liked the colours and I liked how ruins in the foreground frame the image with the hill in the background. I liked the angle from which the ship looks like touching those houses.
