Photographer's Note

Lumbarda - small fishermen's village situated at the eastern part of Island of Korcula. Originally ancient Greek settlement, owned later by Romans, is located
by the sea coves and on the hill slopes surrounding the valley dominated by the vineyards.

Nowadays Lumbarda is a bit lazy countryside spot, famous for its sandy beaches (what is rarely seen in this part of Dalmacia) and quality white wine "grk".

Here You can see some works among the vineyards as the grapes were then ready for harvest. In the background tiny part of Peljesac channel and mountains of its peninsula.
