Photographer's Note

The heaviest lockdown has been released here and now we can travel inside small districts which allows me to walk my dog in my favourite spots again.

The pond called Rozhrna is a part of a large system of ponds built in the early 16th century for fish farming by the noble family of Pernsteins.

You captured lovely colours and reflections while the sun was shining through the screen of trees.
I know that your country has been severely hit by the pandemic in recent months, so I hope the situation is getting better now.

Hello Romana, this is a beautiful sunset. I love the sphere of the sun shining behind the silhouetted trees.
The elongated ‘V’ of the trees coming to that small space between them is perfect as we see some lighter tones in the sky.
And the reflections on the flat water are lovely.

The simple colours in this image are very effective. The trees silhouetted against the sky and sun make a good backdrop. When viewed as a large image the ducks can be seen on the lake.

this is such a romantic scene. I like in particular how the huge round shape of the sun is well preserved and so regular behind the trees. The colors are stunning. Great spot selected to make the best out of the scene.

The setting sun nicely colored the water which made the swimming ducks more visible.

It is good to learn that conditions are easing for you, though I know we have to be vigilant and careful if we wish to beat this virus!

This is really beautiful!
The silhouetted trees are shrouding the setting sun for you so that nothing is too bright. You have been able to create a perfect composition of amber sky, amber water, a thirds' line of silhouetted trees and a strongly positioned sun!
