It is place in one of streets near Kampa. There was very old house with cracked plaster and the lamp, so I had to shot it, because it made wonderful atmosphere.

What a first shot! Perfect capture with regard to exposure, its great to see the texture of this old wall. There's something missing though...but maybe that's part of the appeal. Welcome to TE, Jiri.

This shot has everything to be a great shot.
Atmosphere, composition, contrast level, light level...
There is only one detail that disturbs me : the star from the light. Just a detail.
Very great job.

Po dlouhe dobe opet nekdo z Prahy - vitej na Trekearth. Na tomhle webu se setkava docela zajimava skupina lidi z celeho sveta, vetsinou amateri, ale najdou i skveli fotografove (napr. clodreno, avigur_11, joseelias, maciekda a mnoho dalsich). Pokud se chces zapojit, je dobre psat kritiky nebo delat workshopy (za kritiky jsou stribrne a zlate hvezdicky a za workshopy oramovani).

From the thumbnail I knew it was Prague. You've captured the spirit of a town in a single shot of a still streetlamp.

If such a lamp has so much power and spirit then try to rub it and maybe Kafka's soul will get out this magical lamp...
