Le pitoresque canal de Nyhavn a été creusé au XIIIe siècle pour permettre aux marchands d’emmener directement leurs marchandises au cœur de la ville. Longtemps lieu de prédilection des marins et des écrivains, c’est aujourd'hui un lieu à la mode de la capitale qui conserve tout son attrait, nottament pendant les journées estivales ou il fait bon s'y arrêter pour déguster une bière !

Great POV and composition showing the boats and buildings on an angle. The colors and lighting are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. This is a nice view of these beautiful old buildings.

i love the painted buildings--reminds me of a plce i went to in italy called Burano.

There is nice diagonal line in this image. well done

Hello Thomas,
Beautiful shot and quite a similar idea to one from Stockholm I recently posted. I like this one though because the distance between the POV, the quai and the houses is so much shorter then in mine which makes the photo much more alive. Colors are good but maybe the photo as a whole could have been a bit darker (levels) or more saturated as the light is very bright.
