Photographer's Note
This is the sledding hill in town. Last weekend while sledding with my daughter, her friend's father cheerfully pulled both of them up the hill so they could sled down again. This shows an aspect of Danish life that I really like: fathers love to play with their kids. Rather than insisting that the 4-year-olds learn to walk up the hill themselves, the father dutifully drags them up hill, so they can have a little more fun. They did do a lot of hiking themselves, I should add, but it is nice when someone will help.

hi Kate,
this is a sweet and lovely scene...father playing with his daughter is so lovely....
I think this little girl will keep this tender memory forever...
Black adn white compo works...but the technicolor version may have been better...but this is my own opinion.
I like the shot anyhow..

Hello Kate! I had one of THESE fathers, always around and always taking good care of me. This is a nice way to grow up. A photo telling stories and reminding us of different things, I always like that. B/w is a good choice for this little journey ... Enjoy your Sunday afternoon, maybe on the hill again :))) Barbara.

Hello Kate,
An excellent use of B&W with this image rich in beautiful contrats. Image full of tenderness too with the child and the good father. Great prospect open to the village in the B G too.
Have a nice week,
Roger

Hi Kate,
a very nice note is accompanying this timeless composition. And B&W is a very good choice. Excellently chosen POV on this nice and very typical scene. My compliments!
Warm regards

Hello Kate
A scene which is interesting as well as quite 'exotic' to my tropical eyes, for the scene per se. Good high POV which allows us to see the activity of the father pulling the son's sledge and the small village with neat houses in the BG. B&W looks good, but I wonder why not the colour version!
Regards
Angshu

Dav Kate
a very tender scene with a timeless emotion. The way you've composed this image, with the characters very much on the left side and the choice of black and white which enhances the tracks in the snow is quite clever. Congrats and tak meget
Have a nice day
Emmanuel
