Photographer's Note
Visiting large museums is hard work. When you are exhausted from wandering around the endless galleries, all spots look good for sitting.
I caught a glimpse of this couple in the indoor street of Statens Museum for Kunst from a staircase in the modern addition to the museum, the many layers of space intrigued me and some more bits went onto the flash-card.
See my previous posting from the same place for more notes.

Wow, Torben, you have turned Statens Museum for Kunst into a Museum of Modern Art. At least your photo could hang in one. Maybe you can sell it to Louisiana. Full points for the eye that saw the lines, contrasts and colours at the top of the image, and for the courage to include them. A multilayered expressionist photo.

Very impressive geometry. Those havy concrete constructions are about to crush fragile people.
The tones are good, too.

A wonderful picture, well worthy a museum. The geometry is impressive and so are the shades of color. The tired couple giving perspectiv and scale. I just would like to have two wishes (and you are allowed to wish). First: That the couple was a bit sharper, but I understand you had problems focusing with so many different surfaces - it's a give and take. Second: In the dead center of the picture is something. What? It looks like a part of a box on wheels. I would have cloned that out (if it's not important). I still consider this a masterpiece.

Human beings are simply little ants in the face of their great structures and geometry with which they choose to surround themselves.

This is a superb shot Torben. Beautiful. I like the geometric aspect, but you add a human touch, that's the difference..

Wonderful angles, i like the strong feeling of geometry you've shown. the people are well framed by the flowing lines.
