Photographer's Note
Judo IS fun and it is for everybody in all ages.
It's an Olympic discipline and of course you have to keep up good work but there is more to judo than just the physical exercise. It is absolute a social sport.
In our judo club during the year kids and adults sometimes join to have some action.
This snapshot is from Christmas.

Hello Jan ,
This is an awesome shot.. wholly upside down.Hope the person didnt have any serious injuries as I can see the fall is going to be out of the mat!
Good timing and the blur shows the intensity of the action. Good clarity and brightness.
The tight crop makes the viewer focus on the subjects you intended to be on target.I also can see the one sporting Santa's Cap. :)

Hello Jan
Lots of action in this shot, it is a bit "tight" though, could have put more air around.
Lighting seems neutral and the colours that are present stand out nicely.
I like martial arts a lot, it's just that in most cases where it is performed as a sport match the athletes seem to forget a lot of the disipline, I've seen regular Taekwon-do training and matches, they seem to forget everything.
I like this one though as it shows it is not all violence, it is a lot of technike.
Thanks for sharing.
