Photographer's Note
Mid spring morning in Hakaniemi district of Helsinki shot on my way from home to office in downtown. It was windy and chilly as ofteh in Helsinki in early and mid spring when the water temperature of sea is still very low. Clouds weren´t typical for this time of year and that was the main reason why I stopped to photograph. In addition to that I like also the harmonious low contrast scenery with muted colours and also how the various compositional elements arranged themselves into a picture. No great architecture, no famous sights, no great nature - just a normal urban scenery.

Hello Pekka,this is a fine portrayal of an industrial landscape and the methods that are used to abuse the natural environment.The muted colour suits the image perfectly.
