I love this picture, even though I am not a fan of the freezing temperature. But here the colors make me want to go out. Did you alter the colors of this picture?

Very photogenic conditions - unusual colors, haze, vastness, cold, lowliness.... A good prerequisite for an effective picture. However, where is the dominant object? The son doesn't work in this sense for me - too small, too unstructured, also all too common in shape... Two islands (or whatever they are) do not work either for me. They are hardly recognizable to me. May be the vastness of the sky - or of the ice itself? Horizon at 50% doesn't speaks in either of two options. Nevertheless, the mood is there.
