Photographer's Note
Another view of frost patterns on my kitchen window. But this time with another dimension. This window is slightly foggy too. Earlier there was frost on the window that had already melted away. For some strange reason fog didn't stick to places where there was frost earlier. So, this left sort of ghosts of earlier frost to the glass.

Hello Kari,
The art of nature with frozen window with only glass, formerly every winter on the windows of the farm, today through many not known.
A lovely composition and excellent presentation.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.
Very well done, TFS.

John

Hello Kari, nature does it best! These 'frost moths' as you call them (a perfect name) are beautiful.
I like the random design across the glass, just like a swarm of moths in the air.
Lovely work.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Kari,
I never get such frost moths on my windows even on occasional very cold days. I'm not sure if that's a good sign, but it would be fun to take photos like this and the last one you showed here. They really look artistic, so you had a good idea to show them to us.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Kari,
You really do have eyes for simplicity of nature 'artwork'.
This is a very clever title 'Frost moths' , its like they were glued to your kitchen window , 'Squashed'.
To me, it's like the bird's eye view of the Alps, esp the thumbnail.
Now, after seeing this....I think I'll pay more attention to the window in the frosty winter ( here in Holland??? ).
Thanks for sharing this 'frosty kitchen window'.

Hi Kari
Well seen! The kitchen window? I would never have guessed how the frost paints pretty pictures, shame it has to be so cold to do it. Very different patterns makes a nice abstract shot.
Best regards

kari
looks like these patterns in ice are relatives of those I posted few days ago in the window of my airplane. amazing the visual aspect of theme here, like an abstract compo or a kind of fossil.
take care
jorge
