I decided to take a series of photos of my neighbourhood and introduce it here to you folks. This building is a school across the street from my apartment. The red house on the background is where my flat is located, the right-most window on the top-floor is my livingroom window. This area has been built late 20's and early 30's. The style is so called neoclassism, place is called "Torkkelinmäki" and it is located in part of town called "Kallio". If you visit Helsinki, you have to see this place, absolutely beautiful.. You can get there by tram 3B, leave the tram at "Karhupuisto" - just about 2 km from main railwaystation.
