Photographer's Note
Continuing the series of shots from my kitchen window.
This was shot on saturday morning. Considering time and place, there are big chances that alcohol, underaged driver and stolen car were involved.
Actual exposure time 1.6s.
For a change this one is in panorama format. Please click the picture for the large version.

Hi Kari,
This makes a nice abstract image, I like the shapes made by the snow and the vivid colours from the car's lights. Nice!
Did you think of creating a "Life out of the Kitchen Window" theme?

I liked your previous shot of this subject – but prefer this one. The simplicity caused by a tight panoramic cropping makes this shot almost abstract and those signs and lights becomes even more important for the image.
And the Nysse – again – makes this shot work! A red VW Gold with a leaning traffic sign – especially with your note – creates a nice dramatic atmosphere.
This shot reminds me of the film "Smoke" on which the owner of a cigar shop has taken a shot of the same view every morning for many years...

Hi Kari.
I appreciate the roundabout photos you make.
Is it possible that they never clean the street or is it snowing all the time over there?
Nice title, it got me intrigued.

Fine flowerlike graphic in the roundabout. Fine blue dusk. And finally a fine contrast between standing and moving. And the standing one is so very standing leaning on that lamp.

Hi Kari. I have studied this for ages and still can't work out what type of vehicles were involved because there is one set of tail lights that seems to be much higher than the others - perhaps that was a truck with tail lights on top. Very intriguing image. Good exposure and excellent sharpness for such a long exposure. Cheers . . . David

Nice one Kari. You did a good job with the lights. I have to try one of those one day. Also fun to see some snow..we didn't get much this winter in southern N.-B.
But too bad there was no car coming in the other direction; the upper left part of the photo would have benefited from it.
Very nice shot
Best regards
Louis

snow covered pic...with the curvy black roads and the red moving lights makes for an attractive viewing.nicely thought. and executed.the stranded car defines and shows the hostile weather conditions very well.
